Ideas?

Yes, it would be nice if this community got a little more traffic XD. I'd like to put a banner up in my userinfo, but I have no idea how to use the necesssary tags to make the image show up and link to here. Umm, the things that draw me to communities is the community itself. I think this is a very nice and helpful community of people. My own forum is going dead also and someone suggested to have some sort of contest. Now I'm not sure what kinda contest would pertain to this community, but you can't deny that they do attract people. The only thing is, would there be a prize? What would it be? If you want me to, I can put out the address of this community to other communities. I'm not a member of many, but I could try random ones. I don't mind getting yelled at as long as they don't bring it to my journal. Anyway, yeah, that probably wasn't any help at all, but I really did try to think of something ^^;. Oh...maybe I should look into joining the sister community as long as you guys don't think I'm following you around or something <3<3.

I was thinking of a contest too, maybe cosplay or art. As far as prizes, I could do an icon or a CG, but I'm not that talented, getting better, but nothing worth entering a contest for.

If you would like to put a banner on your user info (our banner or otherwise) this is the code which also makes it a link: <*A HREF=""><*IMG SRC=""> You'll have to take out the * and in A HREF's "" put the link to the site. In the IMG SRC's "" put the image's URL (right click on the image, go to the properties, and copy the URL there). I hope that made sense. I'll put the code for our banner on the User Info. ^^

You know how Cosplay.com does that picture contest? Maybe something like that would work out! And I've seen your CGs and you're way way better than I am XD.

Thank you. ^^ I've been working on them a lot. I find it much easier to do CGs than icons, personally.

Well, let's see where it goes and if we don't get enough publicity, then we'll advertise on other communities. And, I'm registered under my cosplay name (Kamisama) on C.c, but I've never actually paid attention to their contests. What's it about?

The thing is that on cosplay.com they have a theme and everyone takes one of their costumes and takes a picture of themselves doing something according to that particular theme ^^. Oh, I'll go see if I can get an example of a theme. Okay, one of the more recent ones was "Change of Heart". You know kind of like summerizing a quote or something in one picture. Then people vote on who should win according to who pulled it off best. Haha, Haruka is my favorite character! She's so cool ^^;. I mean people here thought I was completely crazy when I said that I wanted to stalk random Haruka cosplayers at Ohayocon XD. Well not really stalk...eh, getting off topic, that's a whole other story.

I think photo theme is a really good idea! It'll get a lot of people excited about being a part of things, and its always fun to join contests and what not.

I understand how you mean. I know exactly what you're talking about. But, trust me, you're not annoying. And, if I ever find you annoying (however unlikely) I'll let you know. I like to be upfront and honest with people. But, for right now I think you're awesome. ^.~

Contests are always fun, I'm sure you'd get quite a few people to come on over. I know I'd probably enter.
